Asterivet expands its presence in Guatemala

Asterivet consolidates its brand in Guatemala by establishing business relationships with CORPORACION AGRO-VETERINARIA COVESA S.A., a company of Guatemalan origin with presence and coverage in Central American countries. Established in 2008, COVESA is an innovative company specialized in animal nutrition.

Astercox, the natural additive to prevent coccidiosis

In this sense, Asterivet has obtained the registration of ASTERCOX in the country. It is a natural additive that stimulates intestinal immunity in such a way that animals are able to deal with coccidia that reach the digestive tract and their body is capable to eliminate these parasites and prevent coccidiosis.

It is composed of active molecules of botanical origin that optimize the function of the intestinal immune system. Thanks to this, the local immune system of the intestine can stop the coccidia cycle during the first phases of development.

Field trials show that Astercox helps the animal to protect itself against different species of coccidia (Eimeria and Isospora). In addition, it is a safe product that does not leave residues or require a withdrawal period.

With the new registration, the Covesa distributor will be able to commercialize the Astercox product in Guatemala.
